Linotte + Little Pink House

Because of today's double posting I thought I'd lighten your reading load so I've chosen two fabulous 'L' lovelies to showcase...let's jump straight in...

Linotte

Anke Weckmann has been working as a full time illustrator since she graduated from Camberwell College of Art and Kingston University in 2005. Her work can be seen in newspapers, books, magazines and more - and it's no wonder - Anke's prints of original works fantastic and her etsy store 'Linotte' is chock full of her sweet colourful illustrations and other gorgeous goodies.

"Drawing is my favourite thing in the world. "

Little Pink House

Wouldn't this (pictured first below) be the sweetest house warming gift - a hand stitched, hoop framed portrait of the recipients home? I think it would be especially sweet for a new home owner.

If you send Melissa Crowe from Little Pink House a photograph of a home she will patiently and expertly hand stitch a version of it using cotton, wool, and wool-blend felt, with hand-embroidered details.

If you have no-one to custom order a house portrait for, then check out the rest of Melissa's work, her chirpy birds and neighbourhood 'hoops' are gorgeous too!
